He Aloha No Punaluʻu Tee
Inspired by Mark Yamanaka’s He Aloha No Punaluʻu, and partnered with Everyday Local this tee is a tribute to Punaluʻu and the people of Kaʻū.
The design brings together two familiar elements of the landscape: the rich black pāhoehoe lava and the bright green naupaka that grows along the coast.
This tee is available as a limited presale fundraiser, with 100% of proceeds donated to Hawaii Rise Foundation in support recovery efforts in Kaʻū following Hurricane Lala.
Funds will be used to help affected residents with immediate and recovery needs including food, household essentials, supplies, and other verified needs.
Transparency is important to all of us. Hawaiʻi Rise Foundation will share updates on funds received, how assistance is distributed, and receipts for purchases whenever appropriate.
