The Logo - Stacked A’s

Logo Towels

Our Logo is more than a triangle. More than an “A” minus the crossbar. There’s depth and meaning. We take all of our inspiration for products directly from the Bible, and our logo is no different. To give a deeper understanding of our logo we have to dive into the word. Specifically 1 John 4:12.

1 John 4:12
“No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.”

The author of this book, John, makes it clear that no one at any point in time has seen God. Anyone claiming to have seen God our Father in heaven is speaking from their own imagination. Paul wrote in 1 Timothy 1:17 “The King eternal, immortal, invisible.” Ke Akua, our God, is invisible. Even Jesus declared in John 4:24 that, “God is Spirit”. He doesn’t have a physical form, a tangible body which we may clearly see.

Knowing this it should make our relationship with God even more humbling. He cannot be completely known by us. We won’t be able to figure out God or fully know his ways. He is beyond our capacity to completely understand. But there is evidence of God’s presence and work among us. Aloha.

Aloha Ke Akua Quote

Perhaps your perception has been skewed. Thinking that the greatest evidence of God is power, popularity, or blessings; but the answer is undoubtedly love. Where God is present and working, there will be love. When love has been “perfected in us”, it means that it is “mature” or “complete”. When you have found a maturity in your relationship with God it is displayed through love.

Aloha Ke Akua Logo Breakdown

Our logo is evidence of this truth. In the foreground an “A” is clearly visible. This is aloha. Our love on full display. In the negative space another “A” can be seen. Though not immediately clear, it is the foundation upon which aloha is based. This is ke Akua. Our God not clearly seen, but the foundation that allows our love to be seen.

To many people love is a feeling. It’s something that can come and go, but in reality the kind of love that comes from ke Akua has no end. No boundaries or conditions. So let ‘o kō ‘oukou Makua i loko o ka lani, your Father in heaven, be the foundation upon which your aloha is created. That is the stacked A’s. Ke Akua a me ke aloha.
